Solution to 5: Reinventing My Alphabet
Only certain letters are used in the text for this puzzle. The indices for the letters are used are : 1(A), 5(E), 6(F), 10(J), 11(K), (15)O, (16)P, 20(T), 21(U), 25(Y). Noticing a pattern in the indices, all the letters of the alphabet can be re-written in the following grid:
ABCDE
FGHIJ
KLMNO
PQRST
UVWXY
Z
Each letter of the alphabet can be represented by either the first letter in its row or the last letter in its row depending on how many times that letter is repeated. For example, the letter "B" can be represented by either "AA" (counting two forward in the row) or "EEEE" (counting four backwards in the row). Similarly, the letter R can be represented as either "PPP" or "TTT".
Using this method to decode the text gives you the phrase "THEANSWERTOTHISQUESTIONISVANGELIS".
