5: The Elevator

You hear a click: the door unlocks. As you walk out of the room, you see a cloaked figure turning the corner at the other end of the hallway. "It's him!" Bob whispers.

Herrington looks up and sees you. He immediately turns and dashes for the elevators. "Let's catch him!" you yell. The three of you race down the hallway - but it's too late. The elevator doors had already closed.

Joe heads for the stairwell. "Come on, let's intercept him on the first floor," he says.

On the first floor, the elevator doors open to reveal... nothing. It's empty. "Oh no! He must have gotten out on a different floor!" Joe exclaims.

Bob appears to be deep in thought. "I think I know where we might be able to find him," he says slowly.
