Solution to 1: Favourite Tunes

    The first thing to notice is that every single clip contains 5 sub-clips with a gap between the second and third. Also, every sub-clip is taken from songs from the album X&Y by Coldplay, the album cover of which uses the Baudot code, a binary messaging system. Converting the clips with voice to 1 and clips with no voice to 0 and finding the corresponding letters gives the answer violet.

    Fun fact: the answer violet is a reference to Violet Hill by Coldplay, which is in fact one of my favourite songs by them.
