Solution to 3: Strip

    This puzzle makes use of a scytale, an ancient cryptographic tool. It is a cylinder around which a strip of paper is wrapped, on which a message is written across the rod; when the paper is unwrapped, all the letters appear jumbled. This scytale has six letters per rotation. Of course, if you don't have an appropriately sized cylinder, you can always just count every sixth letter.
