    Next, one must arrange the clues in the order in which they appeared in the quest:
 1. P: drawing the letter

 4. W,D:Refers to Haultain's birth year, 1925
 5. F: The alchemical symbol for sulfur; fourth letter
 6. K: normal type = qwerty keyboard, the index points to this letter
 7. H: A.T. Liang (2nd 88)
 8. V: Vanadium (50.941)
    Entering "pxvwdfkhv" as the answer will prompt the response:
                    "Haven't you encountered this kind of thing before?"
    This points to Julius the Third. Decoding the message using a ROT3 caesar cipher, the resulting word is "mustaches" which is the answer to this puzzle.
