Solution to #1: The Grid
"Omino" is a suffix found in "domino" and "tetromino", and refers to a shape made out of adjoining squares. This indicates something that may be clear already, which is that each number in the grid must be part of a shape with that many squares. It is possible to fill the grid deterministically but some careful guessing can help out.
Once you fill the grid, you need to use a technique which may be familiar from Act 1's Destination. Each shape that includes a highlighted number should be shaded in so that together they spell the word "primes". On it's own this isn't the answer, but it does provide a hint that you should only shade in the letters which have prime numbers in them. This will spell "pie", which again isn't the answer! However, the website's response to that word, and the puzzle's focus on numbers, suggests that it is asking for another flavour of pie altogether. The answer is "pi".
