Solution to #1: The Town of York

This puzzle take the reader on a trip around the town of Old York (present-day Toronto), through the eyes of three individuals. Each of those individuals created a map of this town, and using the years indicated in the story, one can find the following three maps:
 1. 1801, Elmsley (SR407 H26)
 2. 1797, Smith (HMNTS 10460.p.4.)
 3. 1851, Fleming (T1851/4Mlrg)

Cross referencing the lot numbers on Elmsley's map with the names on Smith's map will give the first four letters "COVE":
      1. C: Andrew Cameron
      2. O: Peter Odell
      3. V: Lot #5, in roman numerals
      4. E: Elmsley himself

But the puzzle is not done yet. Sanford Fleming picks up at this point, starting from the house labeled as "David Fleming" (which may or may not be his actual grandfather. This is not a verified fact, but rather another piece of fan-fiction created by this year's Questmasters, even if by some chance of fate it turns out to be true). Following Fleming's Journey, one will notice he notes down the following streets:
      1. N: Nelson St.
      2. T: Toronto St.
      3. R: Richmond St.
      4. Y: Yonge St.

This provides the final four letters: "NTRY".
Although putting these two pieces together spells "Coventry", this is still not the answer. Entering "Coventry" as the answer in the answer field will prompt the response:
"...did ride, to show to all the villagers her..."
Other wrong answers that prompt responses:
      - COVENTRY→ "...did ride, to show to all the villagers her..."
      - GODIVA/ GODIVA's → "She is a lady, and you will treat her with some damned
        respect!"
      - GODIVA'S HYMN → "Remember what's important here."
      - COVE → "Well that's just not a finished product, is it now?"
      - GLORY → "Whose glory?"
      - The correct answer is: "Lady Godiva"

LADY GODIVA
