#11: War Stories

This is a story that was told to me a long time ago about the not-so-faraway land of Manus.

There was once a kingdom ruled by two brothers: King Dextro and King Sinistro. After years of political strife, the kings could take no more of each other, split the kingdom's army in two, and waged civil war.

The kings' armies began in Domum Formation with Dextro making the first move, sending his Secundus unit southeast for a surprise attack. Anticipating this maneuver, Sinistro countered by moving his Tertius unit north, striking down the opposition then moving the unit back to its original position to meet and defeat the oncoming forces. Undeterred by his losses, Dextro sent his own Tertius unit north and attacked, but Sinistro's Tertius unit quickly moved north and intercepted, aided by his Secundus unit which moved southeast to finish off Dextro's army. His victory almost assured, Sinistro made one final strike with his Qunitus army, but Dextro stood his ground, striking back with his Annularis army for what he thought was his last stand...
