Where in the world?

My friend Carmen loves to travel the world. I haven't heard back from her in a while and she left her phone back home. With a bit of hackery on her phone, I've uncovered some locations she's been to recently and some corresponding message posts. Where could she be?

Her first trip to South America:

Her next trip:
