Street performers have always amazed me with their talents, their courage, and simply their ability to be out there in the open, riding on a smile and a shoeshine.
The most memorable one I've encountered was a couple of years ago, a young gentlemen playing the violin in the subway.
He played simple tunes, melodies that everyone can recognize and connect to. It was only when I started talking to him that I realized there was something that made the performance truly impressive.
