Act 2: The Evidence

You hear rapid footsteps behind you and feel a tap on your shoulder. Startled, you turn around.

"I heard you asking people about Bob just now," a young man gasps, trying to catch his breath. "I'm Joe, his roommate. I don't know what to do. He hasn't been home in two days. It doesn't sound that bad, but he's not the type to just disappear without telling anyone." He pauses. "But I guess he doesn't really have any friends to talk to. You're probably the only person who even noticed that he's gone."

You introduce yourself and offer to do whatever you can to find Bob. Joe thinks for a second. "We could go search his room for clues," he suggests. "We live just down the street."

A number of items in Bob's room look strangely out of place...

1: Holiday Plans

2: The Cards

3: The Poster

4: The Typewriter

5: The Keyboard

6: Monkey Tricks

On the desk sits a laptop, but you need a password to be able to log in.

There's a piece of paper taped to the wall above the laptop. Perhaps it can help you figure out what the password is.
